In 2024 I decided to record the stories of my English Mum and Dutch Dad - they were both getting older and had experienced some health scares so I wanted to capture their stories while they were still fit and able. Both of them had immigrated to Australia with their families in the 1960s and they had experienced rich lives establishing themselves in a new country. I wanted to keep their stories as an audio history and living memory for our family,  especially their 8 grandchildren - who they adore.  When they met is a love story that the whole family treasures, so I wanted to capture it, in their own words and voices.

Soon my friends were asking me to do the same for them - and so Little Bird Audio Stories was born.

Over the course of 25 years working in radio broadcasting, podcasting and audio production, I have gained a deep understanding of how important it is for people to share their story. Often the memories of our loved ones are lost when they pass - and we long to hear their voice again - ask anyone who has a treasured voice mail of a lost parent or friend!

I offer bespoke, professional recordings that families can share, pass down the generations and listen to - for years to come.
